David J. Watts, M.D.

Dr. Watts is a board-certified dermatologist, fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery for high-risk skin cancers, and post-operative reconstruction. He strongly emphasizes prevention, especially for children. 

Dr. Watts was educated at the University of Nebraska in undergraduate and medical school. He trained in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic and then pursued an additional two years of fellowship training in Mohs surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Watts has been in private practice since 1996 and opened Dermatology Surgery Center in 1999.

Dr. Watts enjoys landscaping and working with trees in his spare time.

Anthony J. Griess, M.D.

Dr. Griess earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska in 1995. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Dermatology residency at the University of Missouri. 

Dr. Griess was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology for three years at the University of Utah School of Medicine before completing a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee.

Dr. Griess is double board-certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow in the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Kyle M. Van De Graaff, M.D.

Julie A. Roubal, PA-C

Julie Roubal is a certified Physician Assistant experienced in both general and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University, majoring in both Biology and Spanish, and earned a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Julie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as well as both the Nebraska and American Academies of Physician Assistants. In her spare time Julie likes to read, exercise, and spend time with her family.

Amy

Amy is a Medical Assistant and Surgical Technician at Dermatology Surgery Center.  Amy works at the Chicago Plaza office, assisting with Dr. Griess with office visits and Mohs surgeries.  Amy Graduated from Methodist College of Nursing and Allied Health with a certificate in Surgical Technology. She enjoys being the event coordinator, chauffer and spectator for her kids activities.   She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because  of her friendly co-workers and the teamwork that goes into caring for our patients.

Brandi

Brandi is a billing specialist at Dermatology Surgery Center.  She oversees appointment scheduling, posting co-payments and insurance payments, and scans documents for importing into Dermatology Surgery Center's Electronic Medical Record.   Brandi has been married for 8 years and has 2 children  Her hobbies include crafts, scrap booking and taking photographs.  She loves to organize anything and appreciates a clean house.  She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the professional staff that makes every patient feel they are special and important.

Becky

Becky is a Pathology Lab Tech. and Medical Assistant.  She works at the Chicago Plaza office in the lab and assisting Dr. Griess with office visits and procedures.  Becky graduated from the University of Maryland, majoring in Psychology and Biology.  She then went on to Creighton University for post-graduate studies before entering into the workforce.  Becky enjoys reading, spending time with the ones she loves and baking.  She enjoys working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the upbeat positive people. 

Beth

Beth is a Surgery Technician at the Arbor St Office.  She assists with Mohs micrographic surgery.  Beth also helps with clerical duties and provides back-up surgical support.  In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and working out.  Beth appreciates the upbeat and caring members at the Dermatology Surgery Center.

Courtney

Courtney is and Office Specialist and Certified Medical Assistant.  Her main duties are working with Dr. Van De Graaff and travel between DSC locations to assist patients.  Courtney enjoys playing sports, traveling and going to Lincoln on game day!!!  She enjoys working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the dedicated staff to assisting patients.

Donna

Donna is a Medical Assistant and Mohs Technician.  She works in the laboratory preparing slides for diagnosis at the Chicago St. office.  Donna also helps with clerical duties and provides back-up surgical support.  In her spare time, she enjoys cross stitching and attending craft shows.  Donna really enjoys the upbeat and caring coworkers she has at Dermatology Surgery Center. 

Dee

Dee is the Billing Department Supervisor, and is responsible for overseeing the billing and coding staff, as well as managing the office specialists at Dermatology Surgery Center's two locations.  Dee has a certificate in Health Information Management from College of St. Mary and is a Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based (CCS-P).  In her spare time, she enjoys running, golfing, and painting.  Dee really likes working with healthcare providers and staff who truly care about the patients they serve.

Emily L.

Emily, a native of Bassett, Nebraska, is an office specialist and oversees appointment scheduling, posting co-payments and insurance payments, and scans documents for importing into Dermatology Surgery Center's Electronic Medical Record.  She earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business in 1998 and has many years of experience in the healthcare industry.  Emily enjoys vacationing and spending time with her family, especially her nephew, and trying new restaurants.  She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because the smaller office setting allows her to interact with co-workers and patients.

Jaime

Jamie is an office specialist at Dermatology Surgery Center.  A native of Omaha, she is a graduate of Creighton University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science.  She has worked in dermatology for 2 years and enjoys it.  Jaime enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and scrap booking.  She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because everyone at DSC is polite and courteous to each other. The employee’s opinion on a situation is welcomed and taken into consideration. She likes that the patients leave the office satisfied with the care they have received, and feels that the physicians truly care about the quality of service they provide their patients. The environment in the office is definitely positive.

Jeanette

Jeannette is a Registered Nurse.  She completed her A.D.N. at Iowa Western Community College and is currently pursuing her B.S.N.  At Dermatology Surgery Center, Jeanette assists in the clinic and circulates in the Ambulatory Surgery Center.  She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the one-on-one time she is able to spend with the patients.  In her spare time, Jeanette enjoys gardening, reading, cross-stitching.  She and her husband are passionate about downhill skiing and hockey, and are host parents of Lancer hockey players.

Jo

Jo is a member of Dermatology Surgery Center's billing department and serves as a billing specialist.  She posts payments to accounts, coordinates and oversees our electronic billing, and tracks insurance reimbursements.  Jo has extensive experience in the healthcare field dealing with both the business and clinical components of patient care.  In her spare time she enjoys gardening and cross-stitching. 

Julie J.

Julie is a CMA and Mohs Technician. She prepares skin tissue slides for microscopic examination during Mohs surgery and assists Dr. Watts and Julie Roubal in the clinic.  Julie is native of New York and is a graduate of Iowa Western Community College. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandsons, scrap booking and reading.  She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the variety of work, the friendly co-workers and the teamwork that goes into treating the patients with care and dignity.

Kate

Kate is a Certified Surgical Technologist and Medical Assistant working with Dr.  Van De Graaff  between Dermatology Surgery Center locations to assist patients.  Kate graduated from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA.  She likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the great people who work here and their positive and professional attitudes.  In her spare time, Kate likes working out, baking, painting, and spending time on any kind of water!

Leann

Matt

Matt is a part-time computer network administrator at Dermatology Surgery Center. He maintains the computer network, electronic medical record program, and the company website. Matt graduated from Creighton University with a B.S. in Health Administration and Policy and is attending medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. As a pilot, Matt loves flying airplanes but also enjoys water and snow skiing, boating, and riding his motorcycle. He likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because Dr. Watts is committed to the best patient care, and part of that commitment involves utilizing the newest technology.

Michele

Michele is an office specialist and normally the first person you'll meet during your visit to Dermatology Surgery Center.  Michele helps patients fill out the necessary forms,  obtains insurance information, and establishes your account in our electronic medical record program as well as helps in answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments.  She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and enjoys both art and gardening in her spare time.  Michele really enjoys the people who work at and visit Dermatology Surgery Center.

Nikki

Nikki is a Medical Assistant and Mohs Technician who works in both Dermatology Surgery Center's clinic and onsite laboratory.  In the clinic, Nikki assists both Dr. Watts and Julie Roubal with patients, and in the lab she prepares slides during Mohs micrographic surgical procedures.  She loves working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the friendly coworkers and the office's commitment to quality patient care.  In her spare time, Nikki enjoys gardening, crafts, and spending time with her family.

Teresa D.

Teresa is the Administrator, and oversees all operational activities of Dermatology Surgery Center at all locations, including the managerial and accounting duties. Teresa is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, where she has pursued graduate level courses. She is also a member of the Association of Dermatology Managers and Administrators and the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management. Teresa enjoys working for dermatologists who are dedicated to spending time with their patients discussing prevention and treatment options. She appreciates the employees at DSC who always put the patient first in every aspect of the care they provide. In her spare time, she enjoys landscaping, bicycling, swimming and reading.

Teresa J.

Teresa as a CMA at Dermatology Surgery Center. She graduated from the Medical Assisting program at Southeast Community College in Lincoln. She works with Dr. Griess helping with clinic patients and assisting in Mohs micrographic surgeries. Teresa enjoys reading, cooking, camping and spending time with family. She likes working at DSC because of the friendly, professional and team oriented staff.

Ty

Ty works in several administrative capacities within the office from bill coding, posting insurance charges, and coding visits.  A student at University of Nebraska at Omaha, Ty will graduate with a B.A. in Philosophy and hopes to pursue both a Masters and Doctorate in the topic.  His hobbies include reading, working out, and spending time with friends.  Ty likes working at Dermatology Surgery Center because of the wonderful coworkers: "Everyone from Dr. Watts to the nurses and receptionists is fun, upbeat and professional."
